The NAA The CAMT program is accredited by the ANSI National Accreditation Board, a private non-profit organization that administers and coordinates the U.S. voluntary standardization and conformity assessment system.

David Sanders is committed to providing multi-family maintenance personnel with the skill
sets that enable them to be successful personally and professionally.
Early jobs included: paper boy, gas station attendant, fish cook, construction laborer. After
graduating from Tennessee Technological University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in
Civil Engineering with a specialty in Transportation Engineering and a State of Tennessee
Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification, Dave worked as a Project Manager for several
Contracting companies in the state of Tennessee and was a McDonald’s franchise
owner/operator in Georgia. He returned to Tennessee Technological University and
graduated with a Master of Science Degree in Structural Engineering and served as a Plant
Engineer in Knoxville, TN before relocating to Florida.
In Florida, Dave was a sales clerk and a project manager before joining United Dominion
Realty Trust (Orlando, FL) as a Project Manager. UDR promoted Dave to Florida Director of
Property Improvements and then transferred him to Richmond, VA as Director of Property
Improvements – Northern Region. He moved back to Orlando as the Regional Maintenance
Director for Concord Management and was promoted to National Director.
Dave obtained his State of Florida General Contractors license (CGC #1505815) and State
of Florida Roofing License (CCC#1328308) and operated his own contracting firm and then
rejoined Concord Management as their National Maintenance Director. While in Orlando,
Dave became active with the Apartment Association of Greater Orlando, instructing
Certified Pool Operator (CPO) courses as well as Certified Apartment Maintenance
Technician (CAMT). Dave was an adjunct professor at ITT Technical Institute – Lake Mary
and instructed Construction Management classes where he was the Instructor of the
Quarter June 2009.
Dave relocated to St. Augustine, FL and worked in the Single Family Residential (SFR)
industry as Regional Maintenance Director (Progress Residential, Jacksonville, FL) and
Construction Manager (Main Street Renewal, Jacksonville, FL).
Dave retired in 2024 and continues instructing CPO and CAMT classes.
